'My mum blamed me being born for making her fat...' Experimentation with using compression tape used for chest binding as a medium symbolic of bodily autonomy and external control, woven and stitched into chains. This was combined with anonymously submitted passages printed on fabric, and draped throughout the chains. These were collected from my survey titled ‘The Mind/Body Project,’ which remains open to the public, and responded to the question:
'How has your body been critiqued, regulated, or potentially controlled by others and yourself?'
