'Für meinen Urgroßvater.' A self-portraiture series showing the process of chest binding with tape, with overlays of images from Magnus Hirschfeld's Institut für Sexualwissenschaft, and the subsequent burnings of this institution and its library by the Nazis.
Inspired by the history of the German side of my family, this piece was titled, 'for my great-grandfather,' who I recently found out was a supporter of the Nazis and worked in propaganda. This experimental piece aimed to explore inter-generational experiences and queer histories.
